Blondie Balls

A couple of weeks ago I made brownie pops and they were amazing!! So I thought why not try blondie balls since I love blondies just as much as I love brownies. These really came out better than I imagined.

Ingredients:

  • 2 Sticks of Butter, Melted
  • 2 Cups of Brown sugar
  • 2 Eggs, Lightly beaten
  • 2 Teaspoons of Vanilla Extract
  • 1 Teaspoon of Baking soda
  • 1/4 Teaspoon of Baking powder
  • Pinch of Salt
  • 2 Cups of Flour
  • 2/3 Cup of Chocolate chips
  • 2 Bags of Candy melts
  • Sprinkles

Preheat oven 350 degrees. Line a 9x13 pan with foil and spray with non-stick spray.

In a medium bowl whisk together melted butter and brown sugar.

Add eggs and vanilla extract and whisk.

Add Flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt to the bowl. Whisk in until well blended.

Mix in chocolate chips.

Pour batter into baking pan and bake for 40-45 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.

Remove blondie from oven and place on cooling rack. Let the blondie cool completely.

Once blondie has cooled completely. In a bowl start to crumble the blondie. At this point if your blondie does not form a ball add in a little bit of chocolate frosting.

With a small ice cream scoop make balls and place them on a pan lined with wax paper. Once you form all of the balls place the pan in the fridge for 2 hours or overnight.

Melt candy melts in microwave following the instructions on the back of the bag.

Take out blondie balls a couple at a time. Drop the ball in the candy melt and with a spoon cover the ball completely.

Place the ball on a sheet of wax paper. Add sprinkles while the blondie ball is still wet. Leave them on the wax paper until they dry completely.

Enjoy!!

With Love,
Jen
